The staff at Hotel & Apartments Zarenhof Berlin Prenzlauer Berg were very nice, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and I really enjoyed the large and delicious breakfast options with salmon and meat.

there were construction works at the balkony including varnish/painting. This smelled so badly that we had to change our room. The hotel staff was unfriendly and complicated in handling the situation.

A nice experience of being in an old European, eastern atmosphere but renovated, comfort, beautiful and clean rooms. Bright and cheerful garden and terraces. Polite staff and good equipment and facilities such as for cooking, etc.

Cozy rooms that are well-kept, come with a balcony, a small kitchen, and a kettle — perfect if you like having a cuppa ☕️. the location is spot on, right by a tram stop which is super convenient. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes just a short walk away.

Zarenhof is well situated in Prenzlauer-Berg, with good connections especeially to Mitte and Alexanderplatz, but also to other parts of Berlin. The area is nice with many small restaurants and shops. The hotel is tidy, clean and quiet and it offers a fairly good breakfast. Many of the rooms are rather large.

The bathrooms with showers are small and easily get more ore less flooded when using the shower. There is no service in the hotel at night time, except for the reception, which is situated in another building by the street, whereas the hotel is by an inner yard.

Delicious food for delicious breakfast with salmon. Right next to a U-Bahn station, marvellous location.

The restaurant at Hotel & Apartments Zarenhof Berlin Prenzlauer Berg was good with authentic Russian staff. They served a plentiful and interesting Russian breakfast with hot dishes. Complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee, and a kettle were provided. the location was great, with public parking available. I also enjoyed coffee at Oak & Ice, which was just a 5-minute walk away.

Breakfast buffet is ok, not up to the hotel standards.

Laundry detergent used for the towels should to changed: they smelled so bad

The first night stay was lovely with a clean room that included a sofa and wake-up service, and we were happy to have access to storage, a kettle, and a safe box.

Friendly and serviceminded staff. Great to have the possiblity to do cooking in the room. Nice breakfast and great to have a balcon and quiet backyard :-)

Could have been better ventilation in the kitchen corner and this would not cost a lot, I think :-) Also some tea and coffee in the room would have been great.

The 'kitchenette' was too small to be of much use. Okay for tea coffee etc.

Great location in walking distance to a lovely pedestrianized square and conveniently located near Eberswald station/tram.

The hotel is private and quite. Rooms come with a nice balcony over looking the courtyard. Hotel is Russian themed, which adds a unique twist.

Bathroom was really small and the pillows where very mushy.
